Principals
Fernando Tiglio, Principal & Director
Fernando’s extensive career has spanned across Australia, Middle East and Latin America. He has held key positions for major multibillion (excess of 90 billion dollars), multidiscipline major projects and programs of work in utilities (networks, power, water and gas), mining, transport, telecommunications and hydrocarbons.
Fernando is a strong leader who is customer and business oriented, and has fulfilled senior management roles with proven track record to bring together the key aspects of commercial, legal, finance, operations, engineering, construction and investment management worlds. Key projects Fernando has been involved in include due diligence and feasibility studies for multibillion pit to port iron ore and coal project; the privatisation of NSW electricity transmission and distribution assets; Westconnex development; and the NSW Country Rail contestability project.
Pat Doyle, Executive General Manager: Strategic Development
Pat has over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, having played pivotal roles in the development of major infrastructure projects such as motorways, tunnel projects and rail construction across Australia.
He has previously held the roles of Executive General Manager Constructions, Macmahon Holdings; Executive General Manager – Major Projects, John Holland; Executive Director Construction, Baulderstone Hornibrook as well working on a number of iconic infrastructure projects with Leighton Contractors such as the Eastern Distributor, Sydney Harbour Tunnel and the M5 Tollroad.
Pat’s experience and expertise includes company directorship, joint venture management, project management, construction management and project estimation. He has been active as an advisor in relation to contracting strategy, tender evaluation, due diligence reviews, analysis of global service providers, strategic options analysis, corporate change management and many other assignments.
Warren Galbraith, Principal
Warren is an experienced engineering and business professional with over 20 years’ experience operating at senior levels in the defence and aerospace sectors, and over 10 years’ experience as a management consultant. Warren specialises in providing strategic project management and commercial advice to clients, and the implementation of these strategies. Warren has executive level commercial operations experience from his time as GM Commercial for both Tenix and Hawker de Havilland.
Other roles Warren has held previously includes Project Director for a $1.3 billion project to introduce the European Train Control System into NSW and Commercial Manager and Deputy Project Director for the Proyecto Minero Integrado, a $US5.5 billion Greenfields pit to port mining project in Colombia.
Warren has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, specialising in corporate and project finance, and strategy, a BE (Elec) from the University of Canterbury, and post-graduate qualifications in systems engineering from the Royal Navy Engineering College.
Michael Lesnie, Principal
Michael has deep experience with large, multidisciplinary industrial and infrastructure construction projects. In his career spanning across Australia, Netherlands and Jamaica, he has served government agencies, as well as international organisations and their global portfolios. Michael specialises in project system design, project readiness reviews, risk analysis, quantitative project analysis and benchmarking. Michael has helped clients identify and implement targeted project and portfolio performance improvement initiatives. Michael holds an MBA from the New York University. He is currently undertaking research into how benchmarking techniques can provide evidenced based insights into drivers of cost efficiency for large programs.
Evan Mudge, Principal
Evan is one of Australia’s leading advisors to gas and electricity networks with a strong record of providing valuable asset strategy and regulatory advice to Australian energy and infrastructure clients. He has held executive roles in Jemena, Energy Queensland and Tier 1 Consulting organisations. Evan has worked closely with the vast majority of Australian network businesses and regulators to prepare, optimise and review over 25 regulatory submissions and support major investment decisions, including expert reports on the AER’s approach to opex benchmarking, repex, regulatory depreciation and cost estimating methodologies. Evan has reviewed over $40b of investment in generation, contestability, network transactions and energy infrastructure (both buy and sell side), including the NSW Poles and Wires Transaction for NSW Treasury. Evan has formal qualifications in Engineering and Applied Finance.
David Wilkinson, Principal
David is a seasoned senior executive with experience in the electrical and transport sectors. During his career, David has led business units within major electrical businesses including Ausgrid and Evoenergy. He also led the development of key Asset Management decisions and investment requirements for the Sydney road network while working for Roads and Maritime Services (now TfNSW).
As part of his previous roles, David directly led vertically integrated strategic, tactical, and operational business units with a focus on delivering end-to-end asset management requirements. He has provided expert guidance and input into investment decisions to deliver greater value to customers, and has developed and implemented Asset Management Systems which ensure infrastructure development meets the needs of business, government, and the community. His work has influenced policy development in national-level forums. David holds an MBA – Executive from UNSW and Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Newcastle.
Chris Hatch, Principal
Chris is a seasoned engineering and business professional with extensive experience in the electricity sector. During his career, Chris has led business units within major electrical businesses, including previously holding the role of Head of Asset Engineering Policies and Standards at Ausgrid.
Chris has a deep understanding of end-to-end electrical asset infrastructure businesses operations, having had many years of experience working at all levels of business to achieve prudent and realistic outcomes that align with individual business objectives. This includes understanding the various types and levels of compliance and frameworks applied to Network Operators, and the embedment of Risk, Cost, and Performance into both strategic decision-making and operational requirements for a network operator.
Chris specialises in implementing and embedding fit-for-purpose Asset Management frameworks into businesses that operate in regulated environments. Chris has an Executive MBA from the University of New South Wales.
James Allsop, Principal
James has 20 years of experience in the environmental field working on the delivery of major roads, rail, electricity transmission and distribution, and mining projects. James is a highly motivated and qualified Environmental Manager and has extensive construction experience. James has worked on both the client side and for principal contractors, including pre and post-approval roles. He is well versed in working with project delivery teams to manage environmental controls in the post-approval stage and during project delivery, driving towards positive project outcomes.
James has significant experience managing and reshaping environmental teams within large organisations. He is often brought in to manage environmental teams through periods of change and restructures, helping to streamline the team and its processes to fit the business objectives and meet environmental requirements.
Key projects that James has worked on includes environmental services for Sydney Metro (cumulative package value ~$200m), Paramatta Light Rail Stage 2 EIS and Environmental Management Representative for ConnectSydney.
Chris Amos, Principal
Chris is a highly experienced energy industry professional, having worked in management roles across both technical and regulatory areas of the electricity industry. He provides an integrated view of the challenges facing the energy industry, and connects the domains of technical, commercial, regulatory, and marketing to provide clear, careful and integrated advise. Chris also has a deep understanding of end uses, having over a decade of experience working with domestic and business customers on tariffs and technology. With capability in energy policy transition at the intersection of technical and economic regulatory issues, Chris delivers advice that will ‘work’ because it accounts for the complexity of each domain.
