Fernando Tiglio, Principal & Director
Fernando’s extensive career has spanned across Australia, Middle East and Latin America. He has held key positions for major multibillion (excess of 90 billion dollars), multidiscipline major projects and programs of work in utilities (networks, power, water and gas), mining, transport, telecommunications and hydrocarbons.
Fernando is a strong leader who is customer and business oriented, and has fulfilled senior management roles with proven track record to bring together the key aspects of commercial, legal, finance, operations, engineering, construction and investment management worlds. Key projects Fernando has been involved in include due diligence and feasibility studies for multibillion pit to port iron ore and coal project; the privatisation of NSW electricity transmission and distribution assets; Westconnex development; and the NSW Country Rail contestability project.
David has over 30 years of international commercial advisory and large-scale project delivery experience in Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America. David works actively in major capital and operational advisory works during the feasibility, investment decision, transaction and implementation phases. David helps clients secure their commercial objectives and outcomes by providing structured advice, supported by implementation services. David has been lead advisor for many transactions (technical and commercial due diligence) including major infrastructure assets and construction contracting business M&A. Other expertise includes commercial and contractual services, procurement advisory; contractual claims management, independent expert reports; and project delivery roles including Independent Financiers Engineers. David’s experience includes energy, utilities, resources and rail sector projects.
Tony Eames, Principal
Tony has over 25 years of international experience in economic infrastructure with a specialist focus on transport, social infrastructure and asset management. He is renowned for engaging with the public and private sectors to unlock value to achieve optimal project and whole-of-life outcomes.
As a Principal with experience in leading advisory firms, Tony has worked extensively with Transport for NSW, Port Authority NSW, Roads & Maritime Services, Sydney Trains, NSW Police and NSW Health. He has shaped, scoped and negotiated strategic partnerships to deliver complex $3b+ projects. Tony has led multi-disciplinary teams, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve exceptional client outcomes. He specialises in program and project strategies, innovative infrastructure solutions, industry engagement, transaction management, service contestability, delivery readiness, operations and asset management.
Warren Galbraith, Principal
Warren is an experienced engineering and business professional with over 20 years’ experience operating at senior levels in the defence and aerospace sectors, and over 10 years’ experience as a management consultant. Warren specialises in providing strategic project management and commercial advice to clients, and the implementation of these strategies. Warren has executive level commercial operations experience from his time as GM Commercial for both Tenix and Hawker de Havilland.
Other roles Warren has held previously includes Project Director for a $1.3 billion project to introduce the European Train Control System into NSW and Commercial Manager and Deputy Project Director for the Proyecto Minero Integrado, a $US5.5 billion Greenfields pit to port mining project in Colombia.
Warren has a MBA from Melbourne Business School, specialising in corporate and project finance, and strategy, a BE (Elec) from the University of Canterbury, and post-graduate qualifications in systems engineering from the Royal Navy Engineering College.
Geoff Lilliss, Executive Consultant
Geoff understands business at all levels and is especially focused on Leadership and Strategy , having held positions of Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Executive General Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Engineer and a variety of General Manager roles over his extensive career, primarily in the energy transmission and distribution industry. As the former head of the largest Australian Electricity Network business, Geoff was responsible for overall financial outcomes, reform of operations, contemporary asset management, an $8 billion investment program and a number of economic regulatory determinations. Geoff also has extensive experience in the manufacturing industry, having held the role of Managing Director and CEO between 2010 and 2014 at Ampcontrol, one of Australia’s significant manufacturing organisations. In 2013 and 2014, he was recognised as one of Australia’s 100 most influential engineers, and recently was made an Honorary Fellow of IE Australia in recognition of his contribution to the profession.
John Templeman, Executive Consultant
John has over 30 years’ experience within the infrastructure sector as a Project Leader and business executive, across the transport (road, rail and rollingstock), water and wastewater, mining, defence, manufacturing and heavy industrial domains. In his previous Project Director roles, he has had single point accountability for high capital value and complex programs (>$2Bn) in both private and public sectors, including business case development, strategic planning and execution of commercial strategies, extensive stakeholder engagement, implementation of risk assessment and risk control measures and asset management for road and rail assets.
John has wide ranging commercial and procurement expertise, including having procured Alliances, Managing Contractor Contracts, ECI Contracts/ followed by D&C Contracts, as well as numerous D&C and Construct Only contracts in his previous role as a Project Director at TfNSW. John has also held key executive roles for Tier 1 contractors, including responsibility for business unit profitability for businesses in excess of $150M p.a. turnover.
John is a civil engineer and a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors and has post graduate qualifications in Project Management and OH&S.
Mark Southey, Executive Consultant
Mark is a highly experienced program director/portfolio manager with over 20 years’ experience in the public and private sectors creating, leading and delivering projects and large-scale programs across a range of industries. Mark holds an Executive MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney.
Mark has a strong and proven background in program/solution delivery to blue chip mining and industrial and public sector clients and has held several executive level delivery roles. He has worked for engineering/project companies, as well as for several Tier One Consultancies including IBM, Oracle Corp, Capgemini and Deloitte Consulting holding roles as their Program delivery/public sector/ asset intensive industries specialist.
Mark has a substantial track record of operating in the asset intensive, heavy industrial and mining industries. He has held numerous line management roles in remote mines in Queensland, including Mine Manager, Chemist/ Metallurgist, Major Shut-Down/Capital Works & Maintenance Manager, General Manager (direct Board and P&L reporting), Greenfield site design, construction and commissioning.
